Globetrotting emcee Balenciaga Banks is back on the move. To kick off his summer’s festivities, he just released the super Breezy, very well received, first track from his upcoming Ep “The Last Great Note” – to be released this summer. Entitled “1oo Jimmy Choose”, (above) this new joint has a Boom bap swing with some nicely sampled Steve Miller Band , it’s reminiscent of a Tribe Called Quest vibe splashed with some Jay-Z.

Balenciaga’s music is a true representation of the Rap Song, a more complete experience than just rhymes written over a beat. His last mixtape, “Made and Crafted“was made after a  year of traveling; conceptualizing and writing music in places like Stockholm, Sweden, Los Angeles, Great Britain and DC, he hash tagged the project #Grunge Soul and it  has clocked 40,000+ spins on Soundcloud alone. This summer’s project “The Last Great Note” has some serious break out potential.

Check out the official visuals for  “Can’t  Help Myself” off of “Made and Crafted” out now, and “The Last Great Note” is on the way. And if that’s not enough, Banks is currently on the #FWYGT Tour with partner in Rhyme Breezy Bernanke bringing music to the masses- there are several dates left !
